How do I add a product? How do I edit a product? How do I delete a product? Can I add a new product to the database after I've already started ringing up an invoice? Why can I not modify the max discount and commission fields?

Why is scanning a barcode so much faster than searching a product by SKU or name?

Scanning using a barcode scanner is faster than searching by SKU or name because the system maintains a list of your UPC and EAN values in memory for quick access. 


If you search by SKU or name, the system must search the database for the product, which takes longer.
